As I gazed upon 2026 coming into view, I decided several things:
- I need to manage my time more effectively. I must discard those activities that eat time. Social media is an obvious scoundrel. I have de-activated my FB and Instagram accounts today, 1 deciembre 2025. It will remain de-activated until I complete the book and submit it to the publisher in late 2026. Yes, I will need ALL 12 months
- My focus in 2026 is completing a book I have been writing for several years. I have devoured several hundred books, journal articles, newspaper accounts and the like. I have some 300 pages of notes as well. It’s time for me to complete the book.
- Of course, the additional time will also allow me to spend more time with my best friend, my wife, Jacqueline Dahl. I get to meet my 4 year old granddaughter in person in febrero 2026 for her 5th birthday! Excited about that.
- Yes, on this site you will see numerous articles I author in 2026, along with some wonderful photographs of the amazing world we inhabit.

I was wondering where your social media presence went. I left Fb last November, just had enough of the noise and divisiveness. Also got rid of my cable TV, no more corporate news, and capitalist propaganda it was all effecting my mental health. And just what the crumbling American empire is doing to the world. I’m still on Instagram, for a while longer. I’m glad you and Jackie are doing well, and exciting to know there is a new Bill Dahl book coming out. I can only imagine what it’s about? That excites me. You’ve always been engaged, able to see different perspectives, ask questions and understands.
I have my two and a half year old granddaughter living with us and her parents. Never a dull moment. Now that I know where you’re at online I will check in more. Good luck with your book. Love and peace to you and Jackie.
